The Cayman Islands Judicial Administration (CIJA), which recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the CAJS, continues to work with the Agency to implement the Curia Court Management System, allowing the courts to implement a more modern, web-based system that will enhance its capacity to hear and administer cases.

Cayman Islands’ Chief Justice, Anthony Smellie recently hosted a team from CAJS, comprising Chief Technology Officer, Richard Wall; Director of Legal Affairs, Theo Jones and Project Coordinator, Dennisia Francisco, who helped to oversee the rapid development of the project.

“The speed and success of our project to date are a clear demonstration of the value of having a regional agency dedicated to addressing the technology needs of Caribbean judiciaries” – Chief Justice, Anthony Smellie
